New Adventures in Culinary Worlds

I cooked my first ham tonight. For someone who loves to cook, this is an accomplishment because I've never been a big fan of ham. But yesterday morning's Good Eats made it look so good that I had to try it. And as Jack arrived home from Toronto yesterday, it would be our first dinner in over a week - and he wanted it.

I must say, for a first try, it was pretty darn good. I did have a few issues, mostly the fact that it took a little bit quicker than expected so my spinach and red pepper gratin wasn't ready on time.

So yea me - I can cross another recipe off my list!
